The girls had a wonderful time showing us the eight sets of exhibits. We, the grandmas, enjoyed all the exhibits as much as the girls. Our favourites were, the air hockey table where we had a very competitive, raucous game; the flying paper cups were simple paper cups cut down the side. They would fly almost like a bird. At the pinball table, the girls had fun making a route for the balls. The Free Fall slide was extreme! To use the slide, a person climbed up the stairs to about two stories high and sat on what was almost a window ledge while grasping an overhead bar. You then, slid off the ledge while still hanging onto the bar…then you dropped thinking you would smash to the ground …but, the curve on the slide saved you. We also loved the station where a staff member demonstrated several puzzles to the girls.
We were lucky to be there on a day without big crowds and the girls were able to spend as much time as they wanted at each display. The exhibits are very child (and grandma) friendly and so interesting. We would recommend Questacon for all ages. You can spend a whole day there.
