Today we moved on to see Cathy’s son Christopher, his wife Candra and daughters Elizabeth and Kate in Canberra. We made sure we had an early start to catch the 8:30 train to Canberra. We rode to Yass junction where we transferred to a coach for the last 45 minutes to Canberra. The scenery was lovely and we say millions of sheep on the rolling hills. We also saw quite of bit of flooding and water-logged areas. We were very thankful to the polite and efficient NSW train representatives who arranged for us to slice 4 hours off our trip by taking the coach from Yass Junction to Canberra. We met more helpful Australians on the bus who gave is a tour of Canberra as we drove to our destination, thanks David.
It was so wonderful to see Chris at the Kingston Station. 💕
