This morning we dressed in layers as usual but it didn't take long before we had to start peeling off layers. It turned into a beautiful sunny day. We caught the tram that does a circle all around the centre of town this morning and then got off to have a look at the ‘National Opal Museum”, a store selling opals. We had booked a train trip to Canberra for Sunday but needed to change to Monday. Sounds easy?....not at all. I booked through Rail Ninja who would only tell me how to do it online and did not have a phone number. We contacted New South Wales Train reservations three times and after three tries we were able to transfer to Monday and shorten our trip by about 4 hours. Beware Master Card is not as well received in Auz, as Visa.
With Sunday free we spent hours finding a tour to see the penguins on Philip Island. We walked quite a bit around the Melbourne CBD and went to check out the National Art Museum.
