9 -King's Park, Perth

November 7th, 2022

We were up early and caught an Uber to the airport. The driver was of Middle Eastern heritage and as we chatted with him, we asked him what other work he did beside driving Uber. From his reply we understood that he made chocolates. We excitedly told him the history of Peace By Chocolate and how he could watch the movie. Then upon further clarification we realized he said TRIPLETS not chocolates.

Our flight to Perth was a bit more than 4 hours we were so happy to see Veronica waiting for us…even if we walked past her two times before seeing her. In the afternoon Veronica took us to Kings Park for tea, cake and cookies and to meet her two friends Sue and Roseilita. They are both very knowledgeable and Sue is a volunteer park guide. They can recognize and give information on every flower and tree in the park. We learned so much about the park and its many species Sorry, the flowers are so wonderful we had to post many pictures. Australian flowers and trees are so very different than our plants.

This illustrates how very far away from home we are. If we went straight down from Judique we would come out near Perth.
